I’ve not been as active on my site as I intended, so I thought I’d post a quick picture from my sketchbook to remind you all I’m alive.
This is a wonderful sketch by the late John Watkiss, a fantastic artist who I actually first became friendly with in London long before I even thought about settling in America. He did this sketch for me at some point in the early 90s, when he was developing “Frank Barlowe” as a potential series (I think a British police detective who gets involved in odd/supernatural crimes. Or not. I forget.) Anyway, it’s a lovely image from a truly talent artist who passed too soon.
I also include the original art for the final page of Starman #18, a Time’s Past story featuring Ted Knight and narrated by the Shade. Wonderful art.
